Getting hurt by Collazo doesn't bode well for a guy who has never been good defensively doing well at welterweight.Mosley,Cotto and Margarcheato would have walked through Hatton as easily as Manny. Of course...and, IMO, so would have any number of quick Jr. Welters and Lightweights... Simply put, Hatton could never beat a quality fighter who wouldn't allow himself to be grabbed and mauled...

Although i'm english, i wouldn't even put as much praise on Ricky as that. The way i see it, using the grab/hold/blitzkreig approach he has used in the last few years, he is going to struggle against not just a quality fighter but someone who can box and move his feet. Moderate power helps as well to detter him coming forward as we saw with Malignaggi,

also, on the topic of Pacman being top 3 ever? give me a break.Top 3 of his generation, yes easily, but ever...noooooo. IMO, it is going to be very difficult for anyone to ever break into the top 5 ever, maybe even top 10. This is for a number of reasons: - Frequency of fights: look at the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson and Roberto Duran, these guys fought double, triple and in Sugar Ray case's, 4 times as many times as modern fighters do. Therefore, we have more to go on.
- Belts: i know this has been talked about in so many threads but the belts do make a difference. It is used to be the case that there was a unified champ and everyone knew who it was. In most cases know, i can only honest admit to seeing maybe 1 or 2 of the major belts fight ever. Now you can have people like Dariusz Michalczewski just defending against bums and not building a legacy
- Money/ Desire: Like all modern sports, the money you have, the less desire there is. When fighters are getting back 5, 10 or $20m for a fight, what motive is there to go on? Perfect example of this is Floyd Mayweather. He says he wants to be heralded as the greatest boxer ever, but yet at the same time says...'if it doesn't make money, it doesn't make sense.' Now that sounds like a real champ doesn't it....haha.

Ok this is how I see it. Right now manny is top 20 of all time greats.
If he KO's floyd I would put him top 10
U can't deny that manny would give Armstrong a lot of trouble
