Floyd has perfect timing. Retired at a time when Cotto was hot fire and everyone was calling for that fight. Then comes back to fight JMM and Pacman who are two smaller guys he is sure to beat. If he wont fight Cotto or Mosley at welterweight, at least fight the smaller guys at their weight classes. It is really unfair for JMM to have to go up to 145 and face a guy like Floyd first time out. I dont wana see this fight PBF is the man! He has gone up in weight to fight #1 and #2 guys in all divisions he went to with the exc of DLH. So I have no Idea what you guys are talking about! Who has he fought that is smaller? You gotta give Mayweather props for taking JMM as a tune up! How many fighters will take JMM as a tune up? Yeah! thats right think about it! I guess it all depends on how you see the weight difference issue. I still cant be convinced that Floyd and JMM are on equal terms when it comes to weight. JMM is just smaller than Floyd. I dont care how skilled Pac/JMM are it wont save them from the power punches of Cotto or Floyd or Mosley. Easy fight for Floyd cos he bigger so tune up it is. Thats the way i see it

There is no difference between Mayweather moving up to fight Judah and Baldomir and Pacquiao moving up to fight Diaz and ODH...Both were looking for the easiest touches for the most money...All good management does that, but somehow Mayweather is the only one who gets called for it...It's the same reason Cotto ain't coming within 20 feet of Paul Williams...
The haters should just stop hating for a moment so they can see the crazy double standard they've established...Mayweather has ducked nobody and has not established a pattern of fighting the weakest fighters of each division...unless fighting lineal champions and naturally larger fighters is considered being matched up weak...
And still...there's not a single hater out there that can mention one fighter that Mayweather legitimately ducked...I'm still waiting for to see the pattern, but one ain't coming... ;D

Margarito wasn't known...Period. Before Cotto, Margarito couldn't draw flies if he were covered in honey-coated sh*t...and people actually thought he was in PBF's category ....why don't you ask Pacquiao to fight Ricardo Torres?...Pacquiao ain't fighting Torres not because he's "ducking" him, he ain't fighting Torres because Torres brings nothing to the plate... And even to this date, look at what Arum is saying about not wanting to make Pacquiao/Mayweather....Arum knows not to risk his fighters by putting them in against Mayweather. That's why he never really pursued a Mayweather fight...Sure, he said he wanted Mayweather...but did he ever do a damn thing to force the fight? Not at all...but the haters believed every bit of the hype job while the fraud Margarito got a reputation as a beast for fighting nobody... But it's nothing personal, Latin...I love ya, but I disagree...Don't have a crying fit like Bigdaddy ;D

The guys claims to be the best but hasn't even fought or beaten the best fighters in his weight class neither has Pacquiao. yet where are the angry anti-Pacquiao posts?...Ricky Hatton may have been the lineal champ, but he isn't the best 140 lb fighter in the world...

Once again this is why I hate Mayweather. Instead of fighting someone who campaigns in the weight class that he wants to fight in he chooses to fight Marquez who is 130 lbs fighter who just moved up to 135 and wants to fight him at 147 , . Instead of fighting someone like Shane Mosley who has been calling him out for years and is the 147lb Champion. He would rather make Marquez move up in weight. And you call that P4P? Fight Miguel Cotto or Shane Mosley if you want the respect of the fans. And what is funny he wants the winner of Hatton vs Pacman. But Bob Arum is not going for that. So he is going to have to fight the big boys sooner then later or retire again as a coward who refused to fight people who have a chance. I hope Marquez beats Mayweather which I doubt will happen since he is physically much smaller. Pacman is the Pound 4 Pound Best and he earned it! Even with Mayweather back. Pacman is still number 1. And Mayweather will have to work his way back to number 1 and beating Marquez will not make him number 1. Who is he kidding saying Marquez beat Pacman 2x's so that make him the best opponent ?? Lets see him fight someone in his weight class!! He hasn't fought anyone in his weight class since winning the belt. I think this is Floyds tune up for PacMan. He has no fear of Juan, and he needs to shake off the rust. I think he beats a tough fighter in Marquez, and that will prepare him to fight Pacquiao. Which is the only reason for him to come back. Pac is the man right now, and Mayweather has bills to pay! I love to see fighters with flair, but I think Mayweather acts like a dick, as a fighting personality and as a person outside of boxing. Is it good for the sports popularity? Maybe, but I think more people want to see Manny right now. He says what he needs to in the ring, and is a better person outside the ring. (IMO) Mayweather can fight, no doubt, but he's a real ass if you ask me. Is that what we need in boxing? I don't think so. Say what you want about Hatton, or Manny as fighters, but they are better people than Mayweather. Win or lose, better or worse I'd rather see Manny, Hatton, And Juan Manuel fight than Mayweather because of that. Make no mistake, Floyd is one of the best boxers ever, but it ain't all about that either. Clay

When he's in the ring he's one of the best and I really think it's all about that.

But it's nothing personal, Latin...I love ya, but I disagree...Don't have a crying fit like Bigdaddy ;D full of contadictions and untruths, Why will Arum not want to make Pac vs Floyd fight? we are only one week since Pacquiao destroyed Hatton, a Pacq vs Floyd fight was never mooted before last weekends fight because PBF was in retirement, yet 24hrs before the Pacquiao fight PBF announces he is coming out of retirement and is fighting JMM, PBF done this so as to avoid Pacquiao, he went into self-imposed retirement so as to avoid Margarito, Cotto & Mosley.. Margo has been calling out Mayweather for the last 4yrs but Floyd only wanted `easy fights`Baldomir, Hatton, Brussels, Gatti, ODH, Judah, all of who would also be an `easy fight` for Cotto, Margarito & Mosley... Margarito got his reputation as a beast by fighting guys like Cintron, Cotto, Clottey & Paul Williams all who are vastly superior fighters than Floyds last 6 opponents.... You need to wake-up and stop this idilization of PBF a fighter everyone knows is a fraud.. PBF went into retirement simply because everyone in the boxing world was fed-up of him fighting 2nd rate fighters and it was time for him to put up or shut up and fight Margarito, Cotto, Williams or Mosley so what did Floyd do, he ran like a scared cat, when 2 weeks ago his advisor announced PBF may be coming out of retirement Shane Mosley immediately offered PBF $8 million to fight, Floyd responded with `NO`

Clay Personally, I don't care what a fighter does outside the ring or how nice a guy he is...I couldn't care less whether a fighter kicks his pet beagle around or never returns his library books on time... All I crae about is boxing and Mayweather has never done anything to disrespect the sport. He comes into his fights in shape, he takes his preparation seriously and doesn't pull out of fights at the last minute...You may not like his fighting style, but thats beside the point...Mayweather executes his style to perfection, which is a sign of a guy who works his ass off... This is where the hating comes in- People dislike Mayweather, the man, so they will diminish anything Mayweather, the fighter, does...The fact of the matter is that Mayweather is no worse, in terms of selection of opposition, than anyone else at his level... The double standard is just insane...
