This would be a major war, I pick Pacquiao by a grueling decision in a 12 round fight. In a 15 round fight I would have to pick JCC.

This would be a war of attrition. Really hard to pick this one, like being at the horse track and not knowing any of the horse's. Everything down for the win by K.O. - the Pac-man.

Great fight and great matchup Paul. Chavez was lethal at lightweight knocking out every opponent except for his former sparring partner Jose Luis Ramirez (i think) which was by technical decision in round 10 or 11. Pacquaio looked very agressive against David Diaz but Diaz. I still can't believe that Chavez went 86-0 before losing to Frankie Randall. Chavez is a pressure fighter. Pacquiao fights well against pressure fighters i.e Hatton, I can't decide!!!!
DRAW! ;D

Something tells me if David Diaz could take 9 rounds of punishment from Manny, Chavez probably wouldn't be stopped by Manny unless on cuts.
Chavez grinds him down late.

Not even that, prime Chavez never had any problems with cuts, the only cut he ever got was that little cut on the bridge of his nose. Chavez had a massive chin with underrated defense, he had great body and head movement, and never had any problems with southpaws, Chavez had problems with slick Boxers like the Pea and Taylor, IMO he would grind Manny down, and KO him on the late rounds..

Is this a joke? Pac-Man has no chance against Chavez @ 135 or 140. Pacquaio surely is not going to ko him. Lets be honest people Pacquaio has never been in the ring with an offensive machine like Chavez was. Period.

I think as fighters retire we give them a lot more credit than they deserve. Sure Chavez was great, but the Pacman who demolished Diaz is the same guy who boxed DLH and put Hatton to sleep. The guy doesn't stop and can adjust his game plan accordingly. The offense type of fight that Chavez brings will be just fine for Pacman who takes a comfortable UD over 12 or 15 rounds. And don't start lumping me in with Pacman's fever posts, I just don't see JCC fighting the type of fight that gives Pacman the most problems.
