This fight would take place just after Jones had defeated John Ruiz and before Holyfield's fight with James Toney.
I see Jones outworking Holyfield fairly easily, but it would have been interesting to see the real deal test that chin of Jones at this point in his career.
What do you guys think?

I would take Jones at that point by a UD, Jones probably wouldn't have been active enough for a KO.

Jones wins via UD...
I think Jones really missed the boat by going back down to 175...I think he could've beaten Holyfield, Byrd and Rahman...then, he could've retired an even bigger legend...

jones ud i was watching jones tarver 1 and thought "what if" jones had stayed at 175 to beat tarver and johnson then he could have jumped to heavyweight after lewis was retired and could have beaten the opponents paul mentioned.

Yeah...the move to heavyweight really should've been Jones' career-closer...

Using those parameters, it's Jones all day. If we're talking a prime pound for pound match, I think it's a toss up.
