John "Boring Quiet Man" Ruiz will make his comeback from a 15 month layoff by fighting journeyman Adnan Serin on the undercard of Nikolay Valuev's defence of his WBA title against loud Brit David Haye. Despite his inactivity, Ruiz is still ranked as the #1 contender by the WBA.
And a victory against unknown Adnan Serin will solidify his mandate position and possibly give him another title shot against the winner of Valuev-Haye.
Does Ruiz deserve another title shot? Will Haye be the first Brit heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 2003? Will the fight go the distance? Discuss...

Wow. It's only been 15 months? I don't begrudge Ruiz carrying on his career, but the WBA ranking stinks, as usual.
