where would you place Pacman if he would to knock out PBF?
I would have to place him top 3 of all time. do yo agree or disagree

agree.... most definately agree although he does not have to beat Mayweather, he has just beaten DLH & Hatton far easier than Mayweather did .. Pacquiao is going to fight only Twice more before retirement and his place as one of the Top 3 fighters who ever lived is assured already

Absolutely not...
All Time Top 3? You know, we're talking Robinson, Ali, Armstrong...
For Pacquiao to even think about breaking into that category, he'd have to:
KO Mayweather KO or dominate Cotto and beat Bradley, Ortiz, Campbell, Valero, Guzman, Berto, Marquez in a 3rd (and dominant) fight and then move up to take a title at 154.
In other words: It ain't happening, not even close. Pacquiao is a great fighter, but let's be real.

Pacquiao beats ALL those guys easily

Let's not get carried away...the same Pacquiao who beat a limited Hatton, a very weak champ like Diaz and a weight-drained De la Hoya...is the same Pacquiao who really lost to Marquez last time out and looked sluggish as hell against a tired and old Barrera before that... Pacquiao's great, but gimme a break...

in every boxing fight one will dominate the weaker one.. and i believe the same is true during robinson, Ali, and armstrong time.. so lets be real..

The top 10 all times great list is closed imo. Todays greatnes is measured by whos got the strongest public relations team. A great fighter back then would have to be busy fighitng contenders inbetween career defining fights. If Robinson had picked just the great known names for big money fights do you think he would have fought 200 times?
Can you imagine how much wear and tear he would have spared himself if he could have just skipped like 100 training camps full of sparring folloewd by real fights? How long would his prime have lasted in that case? What Paul posted might seem like exageration but thats actually how things went back in the days of Robinson, Armstrong and Pep.
Paquiao is a great fighter but nobody in modern times has had or will have a top 3 worthy kind of career. Boxing doesnt work like that anymore.

in these days, a boxer does not have 100 fights or more like back in the days. i mean you also have to look at the guys pacmans has beaten and the way he has beaten them. so far only jmm has giving him the hardest challenge and thats how it will always be, that style will always trouble him. i think u gotta think and see how pacquiao would handle guys like armstrong, pryor, chavez. i really think pacquiao has a good chance of beating elite fighters like them from any era. to knock out PBF is a HUGE accomplishment. it is hard to even put hands on the best skilled boxer in our era and for someone smaller than him to knock him out would really enhance pacquiaos resume. if he dont make top 3 than for sure he would make top 10 of all time

Armstrong beat 10 Hall of Famers...Pacquiao's beaten 4... In other words, Pacquiao has to either step up his game or plan on staying active until he's 65 years old... ;D

I think Top 3 is asking to much. But he is already an all-time great.6 titles in different weights and 4 of them lineal, which has never been done. But at only 30 he has about 3-4 years of his prime left.

But remember, ALL titles were lineal back in the days of Robinson and Armstrong...beating 15 former or current world champs (which Armstring did) would be like beating 40 champs now...

I agree, things are very different now and the feats of Robinson and Armstrong are almost impossible to recreate or trump.

You know, he just beat Ricky Hatton, not Sugar Ray Leonard...
