Boxing is always #1 for me, that is no doubt... But, every now and then, I do happen 2 watch a little MMA, dependin on who's fightin anyways... One thing I can say is that I don't watch MMA half as much as I watch Boxing though...
I happen 2 be watchin Brock Lesnar's last couple fights as an MMA fighter and I think he's bein overhyped and I also believed he's overrated as an MMA fighter...
Am I the only person that thinks so?...

I actually thought he looked pretty good in his last fight before Frank Mir, I didn't see the second Mir fight though. I think its only his 4th or 5th pro fight.

I definitely feel that he is way over rated. He should enter strong man comp's, not MMA bout's. BUT, that's just my opinion. Your right PBD, it is his 4th or 5th pro fight, not much in the way of experience.

He's OK, but still way green. His size and wrestling experience will get him by for a while but once he get sin there with a well rounded fighter with some speed I think he's toast and his size will work against him.
I happen to be somewhat of a Lesnar fan but him getting a title shot so early in his career was ridiculous. His actions after the fight the other night didn't help matters any.

I don't think he should have got a title fight as soon as he did, but he has beaten the best the UFC has to offer. He beat Randy Couture who is a legend in UFC and then sealed it up by avenging his lost to Mir. He has earned his belt and has also earned the fan hatred. He acts like he is still in WWE. He's going to continue to sale tickets cause now everyone wants to see him loose.

I think he got his title shot way 2 soon as well, but I also think that happened because Dana White wanted 2 capitalize off of Lesnar's name as soon as possible...
In this case, UFC is somewhat like WWE: You debut in the organization and when the organization wants 2 make you a star as soon as possible, they immediately give you a title shot...
Without a doubt, Lesnar is gonna be the UFC's top villain and it looks like it may be that way 4 a while... Right now though, I just don't think Lesnar is winnin off of skill or anything... He's winnin off of his power and his size... Once he gets in a fight where the size differential is a little more balanced, Lesnar's gonna lose... This is one of the reasons why I believe he beat Couture, not because Couture is shot, not because Couture couldn't handle Lesnar, but more so because of the fact that Lesnar came into the fight with Couture with a 30 or 40+ weight advantage...
Now, the only thing I will say about Lesnar though is that I believe he was somewhat cheated when he fought Mir the first time... I wasn't surprised though, simply because White wouldn't of allowed that 2 happen... People, Dana White included, have done nothin but cracked on professional wrestlers... How would it look if a pro wrestler woulda came in and not only beat a veteran fighter in Mir, but done it impressively?...

Lashley just beat Bob Sapp a few weeks ago (Sapp is worthless anyway), but a Lesnar-Lashley match up would be interesting. Both were top level amateur wrestlers, though I'd go with Lashley since I see him as being more agile, faster, and flexible.
Imagine what the casual fan would say about UFC if they had TWO pro wrestlers on the roster?

from TWNPnews.com Bobby Lashley Says He Could Beat Brock Lesnar Headline Posted by Art Vandelay on 12:25:56 PM Jul 16, 2009
Newly signed TNA wrestler Bobby Lashley was interviewed on ESPN Radio on Wednesday and was asked what would happen if he fought UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. After watching Lesnar's fights and studying the holes in his game, Lashley said confidently, "I win."
He elaborated that he wants to fight Lesnar because he's the champ, not necessarily because he's taken a similar path to the world of Mixed Martial Arts.
"I'm not going to say anything bad on Brock because Brock is the champion. My sights are set on Brock and I'm not saying that I want to fight him because he is the wrestling guy," Lashley told ESPN Radio 1050. "I am saying that because I am a heavyweight fighter and he's the heavyweight champ. Eventually, I do want to fight Brock for that title."
Lashley says he already has a game plan in mind to beat Brock, but he won't reveal it before they fight.

In MMA, Lashley just seems a little more well rounded than Lesnar... I still think Lesnar wins his fights by usin his size and strength advantages, not by usin actual MMA skills...
