Hi Guys,
We're looking to step up the quality and scope of our blog (www.btbc-boxing.blogspot.com) so that we can expand our empire...
However, we need more quality writers to start contributing. So, if you have something to say and you want to write for us, please submit via my e-mail: boxing_times@yahoo.com. If you want to check first and run an idea by me, I'm all ears...
We're always looking for opinion pieces, interviews and first-hand fight reports as well as media reviews and anything else that could be interesting to our readers.
I'm also looking for beat writers from various parts of the world...Basically, once a month, the beat writer would report on fights and fighters of local (national) interest; Not necessarily the huge events and fights, but the kind of stuff that usually slips through the cracks of the major press sources...club fights, up and coming prospects, upcoming bouts, local rivalries, etc...Nothing that a scan of local newspapers/websites and boxrec can't give you, but summarized by you and given a personal spin...The size of the reports should be between 400 and 600 words or longer if its a big news month...
If you'd be interested in being a beat writer for the BTBC, please let me know so I can know who's who and make a schedule so that we don't get beat reports stacked up in waiting...I will inform you as to the format and style to follow for your beat reports.
This will only be a monthly feature, but we need professional-minded writers who will follow through on their duty...If you don't think you'd be able to handle this monthly responsibility, please don't accept it...
I'm looking for beat writers from:
*Eastern United States (Everything East of and Including Pennsylvania)
*Western United States (Everything West of and Including Nevada)
*Heartland United States (Everything Between NV and PA)
*The Philippines
*Europe (Excluding the UK)
*Canada
*Australia
*Asia (Excluding The Philippines)
*Africa
*Central and South America
*Female Boxing
We already have beat writers from Mexico, Puerto Rico and the UK...
Our current roster is: Paul Magno- Mexico
Dafs117- UK
OneKrazyRican- Puerto Rico
So, please get back to me as soon as possible so that we can kick this feature off with a bang!
Thanks,
Paul
