I've landed an interview with Wayne Mccoullough who's a really nice guy. I've never really done an interview, so to avoid just being starstruck by the fighter who re-ignited my passion for boxing, give me some questions to ask him, and BE SPECIFIC. Give me history and details behind your questions.

That's a good name to land!
Something like:
You've faced great fighters over your illustrious and successful career such as Erik Morales, Naseem Hamed and Oscar Larios, but who was the toughest/best fighter you've ever faced?
There was always big expectations for you as a professional fighter since you won the silver medal at the Olympics in Barcelona '92. Do you think you surpassed those expectations?
Why ask: Because you show knowledge about his amateur career

I like the questions that Dafs mentioned , especially about the toughest or which one hit the hardest out of say Morales, Hamed , Zaragoza and Larios! Good luck!

Thanks PBD, that's why fighters never want an interview with me! My questions are too good! LOL! Or the managment teams are a bunch of dildos! Good luck Charlie! Report back I'm trying to land Buncey!

I'd throw in a few bog standard questions about the boxing scene at the moment. He writes for Sky Sports and is always commenting on upcoming fights. I imagine he'd have fairly reasoned opinions.
e.g. The Super-six tournament started on Saturday, who do you see winning it? David Haye is challenging for the WBA title in November against Nikolai Valuev, do you see him becoming Britain's first heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis?
If you find he's got a wicked sense of humour, you could chuck in a question like what's your favourite biscuit or something like that...lol. Good luck with the interview hope it goes really well.
I'll try and come up with some more specific questions soon.

That's great news, Charlie. Very cool. Congratulations. Guys, good ideas. I'm going to kick around some ideas, but those will be hard to top.
I can remember looking at Wayne's site, and he even had a Q&A, and he answered even the most inane questions patiently. "Can I have your gloves?" and stuff like that. Maybe even a question about that--I know his website goes back a ways. He might have been one of the first pros with a full-fledged site.
Hm. I don't know much that'd make good chat fodder: I know that he legally changed his name, a la Hagler, to Wayne Pocket Rocket McCullough. I know he did an autobiography. I tried finding it, and I think it must be out of print. ("Hey, why'z your book out of print?")
Looking forward to hearing how it went.
