With fighters like JM Marquez, Pacquiao, Valero and Guzman leaving 130lbs the division is still stacked because of new comers and guys moving up like Guerrero, Gamboa, Linares and Martinez. Who do you think is #1 right now in your eyes? Right now I would probably have to pick Linares, but Soto isn't too far behind. Gamboa is still to green but in the near future he's a problem.

You know, I'm also going with Linares...but give the Cuban a few more fights, and I think I might be able to confidently vote for Gamboa as the best in that class.
Both are the future, and I'm praying...that they'll meet.

There's no way I'm sleeping on Gamboa, don't worry. He has unbelievable speed and power, just needs to work on his defense a little bit, which is usually the problem with the younger guys. At the same time guys like Guerrero and Soto can possibly bully Gamboa around the ring with there own power, and they both have jaws made of granite.

Linares is the very definition of a well rounded fighter. He hasn't fought at 130 yet,I don' think, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
