Who do you think is the best prospects as of now. I know we did a thread like this on the old board but I figured we would do another here. Right now I think the future of boxing looks great with a lot of really good prospects and future champions.
At the lower weight classes (135 and below) : Abner Mares, KoKi Kameda, Roman Martinez, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Hernan Marquez, Monty Meza Clay, Bernabe Conception, Urbano Antillon
140-147lbs: Victor Ortiz, Alex De Jesus, Demetrius Hopkins, Timothy Bradley, Dmitriy Salita
154-168lbs: Andre Ward, Andre Dirrel, Daniel Jacobs, Will Rosinsky, James Kirkland, Alfredo Angulo, Fernando Guerrero, Yuri Foreman, Vanes Martirosyan, Joe Greene, Ronald Hearns, Peter Quillin, Carlos De Leon Jr., James McGirt, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
175lbs Can't think of any except a few Super Middle's who can possibly move up.
Cruiser: Bj Flores?
Heavyweight: Odlanier Solis, Chris Arreola, Deontay Wilder
Let me know what you think.

You're the high chief of these lists, PBD. There's names on here I've got to look up yet.
I might leave out McGirt Jr. after last week's draw (with a 8-3 fighter)--and how about adding Tavoris Cloud at light-heavy?
I like Flores as our cruiserweight prospect. Could add Johnathon Banks, too, especially if he can knock off Enzo Maccarinelli in December. (But he's not got much on his resume, and you've got to wonder why he's the opponent for the bouncing-back Maccarinelli.) The cruisers might be the most internationally diverse of all the division.
I'm glad to be able to add Deontay Wilder to the list of heavies, even if it's after one fight. A pro career might never pan out, but I'm pulling for him.

Did anyone catch Deontay Wilder's interview on FNF a few weeks back? The kid already sounds punch drunk. I don't know about his long-term chances.
I like Solis at Heavyweight. The kid actually has some skill and a little size. He could be a keeper.

Yea McGirt Jr didn't impress in that last bout, I don't know why I even threw him in there. I have to check out Jonathan Banks , I haven't seen much of him. Another one is Marcus Johnson , a Super Middle out of I think Texas who is 16-0, I have seen some footage of him and looks really good. Wilder reminds me of a younger RIddick Bowe, I missed that interview though Paul, and I agree , I say Solis is the future of the heavyweight division and will be champ within a few years.
